Gazprom Neft says may pay 15 rbl/share in dividends for 2020
MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- The board of directors of Russian oil company Gazprom Neft has recommended paying a total of 15 rubles per share in dividends for 2020, including a 5 ruble dividend the company paid for January–September and final dividends of 10 rubles per share, the company said in a statement late on Tuesday.
The shareholders will consider the recommendation at an annual general meeting on June 11. The record date for the final dividend is June 25.
The company posted a net profit of 117.7 billion rubles in 2020, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the combined dividend payout for the year may reach about 71.2 billion rubles.
For 2019, the company paid a record amount of 37.96 rubles per share, or a total of 180 billion rubles – 45% of the company’s net profit calculated under IFRS, in final and interim dividends.
Gas giant Gazprom owns 95.68% in Gazprom Neft.
